Your photos never leave your device. Evolv is built on a simple promise,  your body transformation journey is yours alone. We do not upload, sell, share, or have access to your photos or personal data. Everything stays on your phone.

1. Overview
Evolv is a body transformation tracking app developed by Simplynius. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Evolv on your iOS device. Because Evolv stores all data locally on your device with no backend server or cloud storage, your personal data is never transmitted to or stored by us.

2. Data Stored On Your Device
The following data is collected and stored only on your device via local storage. It is never transmitted to Evolv or any third party:
Your name (entered during onboarding for personalization)
Progress photos (front, back, side, face, and other categories)
Weight entries logged alongside photos
Goal settings, streaks, and timeline data

You can delete all of this data at any time via Profile → Delete All Data.

3. AI Analysis & OpenAI
Evolv offers an optional AI-powered photo analysis feature in the Compare screen. When you choose to use this feature, the selected photos are sent to OpenAI’s API solely to generate your analysis result.
Photos are only sent when you explicitly tap “Analyze”
No name, account, or personal identifier is attached to the photos sent
OpenAI does not store submitted images beyond processing the request
We do not retain any copy of the photos sent for analysis

OpenAI’s data handling is governed by their own privacy policy at openai.com/privacy.

4. Subscriptions & Payments
Evolv offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions processed entirely through Apple’s App Store. We never see, store, or handle your payment information. All billing is managed by Apple.

5. No Accounts. No Tracking. No Ads.
Evolv does not require you to create an account
We do not use advertising networks or display third-party ads
We do not track your behavior across other apps or websites
We do not share your data with data brokers
We do not use analytics SDKs that collect usage data

6. Children’s Privacy
Evolv is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
